What is Soul and R&B Line Dance?

It has become popular as a form of group exercise, especially in
communities across the USA and it’s beginning to take Canada by storm.No partner needed – just good vibes ๐บ๐พ
Inclusive and fun for all ages & levels ๐ฉโ๐ฆฝ
Line dancing has its roots in folk traditions and is a social dance. Soul/R&B Line Dancing in particular, often incorporates stylized footwork and body movements. Each region in which the style is practiced adds their own flair to the steps.
Soul and R&B Line Dance has its roots in African American
communities, evolving through social gatherings, family reunions,
and clubs from the 1970s onward. Inspired by earlier dance
traditions like the Electric Slide and disco-era moves, it grew
alongside soul, funk, and R&B music, creating choreographed group
dances that anyone could join, regardless of skill level. Now people
all over the world, from various backgrounds are joining the latest
Soul/R&B Line Dance wave.Groove & Move Line Dance can be enjoyed by and adapted to benefit the needs and interests of multiple demographics.
Adults including seniors: Improved balance and memory + joy through music from their era plus the stimulation from experiencing new tunes
Teens: Reduces anxiety, offers screen-free bonding time
Professionals: Mood reset, low-impact cardio, birthday celebration or social event
Dance studio regulars: challenge of exploring a different kind of dance/fitness
